Overview

Evolved Art is a relatively simple app to use, however, the internal workings of the app can be somewhat complex. For this reason, and to help make your experience more enjoyable, these pages will help get you up and running quickly, as well as allow you to understand the complexities of Evolved Art. Not everyone will want to spend the time necessary to read all of this material before they begin to enjoy playing with Evolved Art. For this reason, the app includes several videos that will assist you in getting up and running with the app quickly. Once you have started to get comfortable with using Evolved Art, you can return to these pages to get more details about the things that interest you the most.

The section Limitations describes some of the limitations of Evolved Art with respect to the iPad. Evolved Art is very demanding on your iPad's CPU and memory and this section describes how best to make maximize your experience with Evolved Art. You will likely want to spend the time to read the Concepts section as well. This page will describe each of the various elements of the app, as well as terms used throughout the app and this documentation. From the point of view of using Evolved Art, the most important pages are those in the Views section. These pages summarize the primary views of the app, and describe the various features and operations of each view. So you may wish to start there, and then work your way through the remainder of the documentation as you find time.
